Cynthia Lynn Pantaleo

Cynthia Lynn Pantaleo, 65, of Aliquippa, beloved sister, aunt, and great aunt, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2021. She was born June 2, 1956, in Rochester, PA, and was the daughter of late Samuel C. and Mary C. Pantaleo. Cindy was a lifelong resident of Aliquippa. She graduated from Hopewell High School in 1974. After high school she began work at Bell Telephone and continued her customer service career until retirement from Verizon in 2010. There’s a good chance if you called customer service for your telephone, you would have spoken with Cindy at one time over the years. Cindy grew up cooking and baking with her mother, Mary “Pookie”. After her mother’s passing, Cindy continued to bake for her family and friends. Needless to say, she was a wonderful baker. Aside from baking, she loved cross stitching, crocheting, origami, and crafts. While she kept busy with her hobbies, nothing mattered to her more than family. Cindy was tremendously loved and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her siblings: Sandra (Wayne), Sam (Helena), Mary (Tom), and Chuck. In addition to being a wonderful sister, she was an amazing aunt to her 8 nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Stephen), Amber (Frank), Vincent (Aracely), Tom (Cassie), Philip (Michele), Angela (Vladimir), Sammy, and Brooke; and 8 great nieces and nephews: Riley, Gavin, Evan, Adrien, Carsen, Lucas, Calvin, and Isaac. Cindy was simply a beautiful person and richly blessed with family and dear friends. Her life was one lived with faith and hope. Her laugh was infectious, and her hugs could warm your soul. To know Cindy was to love her. "To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die" Cindy will live forever in the hearts of her friends and family. We love you. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 pm in the Anthony Mastrofranceso Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001. Additional visitation will be Friday from 10:00 am until time of blessing service at 12 noon in the funeral with Fr. Joachim Morgan. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
