Walter Dubis, 92, formerly of Center Twp., passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015.He was born December 1, 1922 and was the son of the late Adam and Helen Dubis.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Emily and Wanda Dubis and a cousin, Bolek Michalczyk.Walter was a graduate of Duquesne University with a degree in accounting. He was a retired employee from the I.R.S. as a Tec Advisor. Walter was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of P.N.A. Club where he served as an officer for many years. Walter relished in his Polish heritage. He appreciated history and Polish music. He liked to play golf and delighted spending time fishing.Walter was a true gentleman in every aspect of his life. He was a kind, gentle and thoughtful man.He is survived by his cousins, Jadwiga Michalcyzk and her family, all of Poland; Eugenia Kalamas, Industry; Bob and Mary Giesey, Maryland, and Barbara Konkezka, New Jersey. Walter is also survived by his dear friends Mr. and Mrs. Mihaluk, Mr. and Mrs. Prajsnar, and Helen and Bob Sentipal for the dedicated friendship that was shared with Walter and the Wilcey family. His attorney and close friend Michael Nalli who was always there to help Walt.Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME INC., 21st and McMinn Streets, Aliquippa, 724-375-0496. Departing prayers will begin Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. at St. Titus Catholic Church, with Father Paul Householder officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Beaver County Special Unit will provide military honors at the cemetery at 10:15 a.m.A special thank you is extended to the staff at Villa St. Joseph for the wonderful, thoughtful care that was shown to Walter.
