Victoria A. (Garuccio) Fratangeli, 74, of Aliquippa was surrounded by the love of her cherished family when she passed away January 28, 2022, after a lengthy struggle with heart disease. She was born in Aliquippa, May 15, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (DePace) Garuccio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, eight brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Delina and Joseph Farelli, Pete Constante, Frank Fratangeli, Saverio Antonucci, Mario and Giulia Fratangeli, Augusto Fratangeli, Umberto and Rina Fratangeli and Domenic Fratangeli. Vickie was a member of Mary Queen of Saints Parish, St. Titus Church and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. Throughout her life Vickie was a spiritual person and had a strong devotion to her catholic faith. She retired as a State Legislative Aide Assistant and served as a council member in Aliquippa working to improve her hometown. Vickie looked forward to the annual St. Rocco Festa. She dedicated numerous years working at the festa and was blessed to have met the love of her life at a celebration for St. Rocco. Vicki was a consummate hostess. She welcomed everyone who walked through her door with unconditional love and of course a plate of food. Vickie appreciated music and singing and would serenade her husband and family with songs. She will lovingly be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who gave each of us beautiful memories to cherish and celebrate her life. Vickie was the devoted wife of John Fratangeli, who she was married to for 55 years. Five caring children: Benedict and Kelly Fratangeli, Paula and Martin Turkovich, John Joe and Marybeth Fratangeli., Michelle and Anthony Amadio, Gina and Clay Kohar. Vickie was blessed with eighteen grandchildren: Benny, Johnny (Andrea), Caitie (Jake), Lucas, Austin, Anissa (Mark), Haley, Dante, Ryan, Geno, Emma, Gianna, Roman, Nico, Alaina, Alivia, Gavin, Aubrey and a great granddaughter, Lidia. Vickie shared a special bond with each of her grandchildren and was extremely proud of them. She is also survived by a sister, Josephine “Nina” Constante, two brothers and a sister-in-law: Larry “Sonny” and Peggy Garuccio, Joe Garuccio (Cheryl Bui), three brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law: Remo and Maria Fratangeli, Tony and Anna Fratangeli, Phillip and Sue Fratangeli, Filomena Antonucci, Felicetta Fratangeli, Margherita Fratangeli, Antoinette Fratangeli and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-7 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street Aliquippa, PA 15001 724-375-0496. Departing prayers will begin at 9:30 am on Wednesday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Titus Church. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or the American Heart Association.
