Steve F. Cukrovany Jr.

September 12, 1961 - January 7, 2018

Steve F. Cukrovany, Jr. 56 of New Brighton formerly of Aliquippa passed away at home after an extended illness on January 7, 2018. He was born September 12, 1961 in Aliquippa, PA and was the son of the late Steve F. Cukrovany, Sr. and Anne Elizabeth Borov Cukrovany. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his former wife Kara Cukrovany. Steve was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church (St. Monica Parish), Beaver Falls. He volunteered at God’s Choice Church in Rochester helping those who are less fortunate, and he was a staff member at Beaver County Sportsmen’s Conservation Camp. Steve was an electrician by trade. He previously had his own business, “Lissentothis”, working as a D.J. He also played drums in various bands throughout Beaver County. Steve was an avid fisherman and relished in watching and taking pictures of sunrises and sunsets. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. One of Steve’s greatest passions was collecting small toy cars and trucks. He is survived by his loving daughter: Anne Elizabeth Cukrovany; his devoted siblings and their spouses: Edward and Jacqualine Cukrovany and Susanne and David Foley; Two sisters-in-law: Kelley VanKirk and Angela Moore. Steve is also survived by five nieces: Helenka Foley, Tianna VanKirk, Sierra Gibson, ‘Renie’ Gibson and Chloe Moore and three nephews: Michal Foley, Bronek Foley and Damien Moore. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-7 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 15001 724-375-0496. Departing prayers will begin Thursday at 9:00 am in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 am in St. Titus Church with Fr. Tom Wilson. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Steve was a transplant survivor from 2003 when he received a new kidney and pancreas. In memory of Steve please consider becoming an organ donor.
