Robert J. Casoli Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert J. Casoli, 89 of Hopewell Twp. passed away peacefully on June 24, 2016.He was born December 04, 1926 in Aliquippa and was the son of the late Anthony and Regina (Marchioni) Casoli. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers: Fred, Albert, Dan, Eli and Otto Casoli, three sisters: Delores Musante, Elizabeth Pietrandrea and Mamie Mitrovich.Mr. Casoli was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Hopewell Twp.He was a retired employee of Hopewell School District where he worked as a teacher and the audio visual coordinator.Mr.Casoli was a retired veteran of the United States Navy having served in WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0945.He is survived by a dear sister, whom he resided with, Eleanor Dimitrakis. Also surviving are numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Visitation will be Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa 724-375-0496. Departing prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father Howard Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors at the cemetery.In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, the Beaver County Humane Society or a charity of one?s choice in memory of Mr. Casoli.
