Patsy N. D'Antonio 97, of West Aliquippa went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2016. He was born April 4, 1919 in Cokesburg, PA and was the son of the late Nick and Mary (Ross) D'Antonio.Patsy was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Sylvan and Theresa D'?Antonio, Adam Tonio, Eddie and Kay Tonio, Joe and Mary Jane D'Antonio, two sisters and a brother-in-law: Cecelia and Dick Lucci, JoAnn Kristian. Two sisters-in-law and a two brothers-in- law: Lil D'Antonio, Mary and Guy Rubino, Frank Antonucci and a very special cousin, James D'Antonio.Patsy was a member of Saint Titus Roman Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He retired from J&L Steelworks where he worked in the Boiler House in the Maintenance department. Patsy was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.He is survived by his beloved wife: Elaine (Rubino) D?'Antonio. Two loving daughters and two sons -in-law: Patricia and Calvin Lind, Clinton, PA and Denise and Dwight Daudet, Smithsburg, MD. Four grandchildren: Craig, Mark and Mathew Lind, Valerie and Tim Russell. Three great grandchildren: Maggie, Travis and Lainie Russell. Patsy is also survived by a brother and two sisters-in-law: Robert and Lena D'Antonio, Dorothy Antonucci, one sister and three brothers-in-law: PattiLou and Aldo Legge, Joe Kristian, Emilio D'Antonio and many devoted nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Monday 4-8 p.m. in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 724-375-0496. Departing prayers will begin at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Titus Church with Monsignor David Rubino. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.The Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors at the cemetery at 11:00 a.m.A very special thank you to Tommy Mudron for the wonderful care he gave to Patsy and also to the entire staff at Beaver Elder Care for their compassion and kindness.Saint Titus Holy Name Society will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening.
