Mary F. DiCicco Carpenter

October 30, 1936 - February 13, 2016

Mary Frances (DiCicco) Rock-Carpenter,79 of Aliquippa is now at peace. She passed away February 13, 2016. Mary's final hours were spent surrounded by her loving daughters Tammy and Debbie, her grandchildren, her sister Bonnie and her niece Christine.She was born October 30, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Christopher J. and Margaret P. (Cooney) DiCicco. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Christopher, Guy "Buska", and Edward "Chookers" DiCicco, two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Jeannie and Roy Owens, Dorothy Mottes and Leo Rosa. Mary was also preceded in death by two nephews: Johnny Mottes and Thomas Tischler.She was a member of Saint Titus Roman Catholic Church. Mary was a retired employee of Colona Steel/Ampco-Pittsburgh Corp. at the Monaca plant where she worked as a foreman. She was also retired from Veresol USA Inc. Mary was a member of Local Unions #1137 and #8183. Surviving Mary are her two daughters and two sons-in-law: Tammy and Craig Geier, Center Twp. and Debbie and Joseph Gonzalez, Aliquippa. Her cherished grandchildren: Craig Geier II and Rebecca Shingler, Jessica Geier and Joseph Dillen, Brandon Geier, Bradley Geier, Melissa Geier and Brandon Davis, Jennifer and Steve Manno, Kristina and Michael Villella, Jo and Eddie Slankard. Her great grandchildren: Joseph, Liam, Michael, Melania, Riley and Tessa. Mary is also survived by her two sisters and brother-in-law: Kathy and Anthony Sebastian, Bonnie Rosa, her brother and sister-in-law: James "Mimi" and Jean DiCicco. Two sisters-in-law and One brother-in-law: Kathy DiCicco, Pete and Harriet Mottes, a godson Frank Purrachio, a dear friend Judy McMillian and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc.,2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa 724-375-0406. Departing prayers will begin at 9:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Titus Church with Father Paul Householder officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
