Lori A. (Dickey) Stevic Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lori A. (Dickey) Stevic, 47 of Weirton, WV passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on December 17, 2021. She was born May 15, 1974, in Sewickley, PA and is the beloved daughter of Dwight and Mary (Chapes) Dickey. Lori was lovingly greeted in heaven by her maternal grandparents: Michael and Mary Chapes and her paternal grandparents: Dwight C. and Helen Dickey and stepdaughter: Lindsey Varlas. Lori was a graduate of Hopewell High School, Class of 1992. While she was still in high school, Lori enlisted in the 171st Air Refueling Wing. Lori received a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and continued her education earning a master’s degree from Mountain State University, while serving in the military for 22 years. She enjoyed playing softball and was active with numerous teams. Lori was a kind a person who always thought of others and lead many projects. Her current endeavor was collecting clothes for homeless Veterans. In addition to her parents Dwight and Mary Dickey. Lori is survived by her husband, Tim Stevic, two beloved sons: Donovan and Braden who Lori was so proud of and a Step daughter: Teilor Stevic, two step grandchildren: Bradly Varlas and Ariyanna Varlas. A loving sister, Dawn Dickey and her children: Ethan Roush and Pressley Roush. Three uncles and two aunts also survive Lori: Donald and Cindy Dickey, Michael and Theresa Chapes, a great uncle, Bob Dickey, numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001 until time of service at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will take place Wednesday at 10:00 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Beaver County Special Unit provide full military honors. To honor Lori’s mission of gathering clothing for homeless veteran’s, the family kindly asks if one can bring a winter hat or a pair of gloves to the funeral home for collection. All items collected will be given to homeless veterans in her memory. Lori will be sadly missed by all who knew her.” Our thoughts are with you always Lori, your place no one can fill.
