Kenneth Charles “Kenny” Swogger. Sr. 73 of Aliquippa is at peace. He passed away November 22, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born December 4, 1943 in Rochester and was the son of the late Robert and Hazel K. (Swogger) Johnson. Kenny was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Sanford and Goldie P. (Allen) Swogger who helped raised him. A sister Kathryn Johnston and a special niece Denise Swogger. Kenny retired from Ogden Aviation, at Pittsburgh International Airport, where he worked as a driver. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed shooting pool and was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. Kenny participated in local youth sports activities and will always be remembered for his “Indian call” at the baseball games. He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Anna May (Bennett) Swogger. Four children: Kenneth “Casey” Swogger, Jr., Robert “Skip” Swogger, Tammi Swogger and Peyton Swogger. Three grandchildren: Lorianna, Bryson and Waylon. A brother, Dennis Swogger, a special sister-in-law and dear friend: Charlotte Swogger-Lopes, a brother-in-law: Byron Jr.” Johnston, many loving members of the Bennett family and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 15001 724-375-0496 from 2 until time of service at 6:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Clarence Bennett, Kenny’s brother-in-law. The Beaver County Special Unit will provide military honors at the funeral home 2:30 p.m. followed by a dove release at 3:00 p.m.
