John Cindrich

John Cindrich of Hopewell Township passed away on Monday, December 28, at the age of 86. John died peacefully with Rose, his beloved wife of 64 years, by his side. John was born in Aliquippa on January 23, 1934, and was the son of the late Joseph and Doris (Valentich) Cindrich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Michael, Nick and Frank. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hopewell Twp. John is survived by his wife devoted wife Rose (Uccellini) Cindrich; children Carla (Kurt) Gardner, John (Doreen) Cindrich and Cynthia (John) Tomczak. John is also survived by his five grandsons, Rawley Gardner, Logan and Cole Cindrich, and Luke and Liam Tomczak, all of whom were the light of his life. Also surviving is John’s brother George, sister Ann, several beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. In 1996 John retired from J&L/LTV Steel after a dedicated 44-year career. In addition to being a devoted husband, a loving father and a proud grandfather, he was an active member of the St. Anthony Club in Midland. All are invited to attend the funeral Mass on Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 11:30 a.m. Private interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
