Harry J. Victor, a 35 year resident of Margate, FL, passed away after a difficult battle with cancer and COVID-19, Thursday evening, July 16th. The son of Italian American parents, Harry was born and raised in McKees Rocks, PA. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann B. Victor on May 18th, 1963. In 1985 they left Pennsylvania for Florida with their two children, Christina Mari Palopoli (Joseph Jr.) of Parkland/Coral Springs, FL and William H. Victor (Jennifer) of Decatur, GA. A humble, generous, kind and witty man, Harry devoted his life to his family. His grandchildren Joseph Palopoli III, Michael Victor Palopoli and Julia Angelica Victor were his pride and joy. He loved watching his grandsons play sports and you could find him cheering on the soccer fields and basketball courts for every game. Harry trained as a military policeman, was an Army reservist and had a long career in the retail auto parts industry. He owned and operated his own auto parts store, Victor’s Discount Auto Parts, in Butler, PA. for many years. Harry loved cars, listening to Pavarotti and was a lifelong loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, brothers Richard Victor, Mario T. Victor and Eugene Victor and nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Florida. He will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum in Moon Twp. In this difficult time for gathering, there will not be a formal memorial service.
