Giulia "Ginetta" Muscedere

Giulia “Ginetta” Muscedere, 82 of Hopewell Twp. Passed away peacefully on March 22, 2019. She was born October 19, 1936 in Fontechiari, Prov. Frosinone, Italy. Giulia was the daughter of the late Filippo and Onoria Ricci. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michele “Mike” Muscedere, three sisters and a brother. Giulia was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Giulia was kind, wonderful person who had a smile that would warm your heart; she affectionally called people “Bella”, which means beautiful in Italian. Her attire was an exceptional and she took great pride in her appearance. Her cooking was delicious, and she cherished when her family arrived for Sunday dinner. Giulia was a dedicated wife, mother and Nonna who will be sadly missed by her family. She was blessed with a loving daughter and son-in-law who survive her, Angela and Michael Yanko. She was the beloved Nonna to her granddaughters: Michelle and Zachery Robertson and Maria and Nicholas BonAnno. Giulia was also blessed with two great grandchildren: Malena and Nico BonAnno and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be Monday from 3-7 pm in the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 15001 (724) 375-0496. Departing prayers will begin Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Martin Bartel, O.S.B. officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Pilgrimage Hospice for the loving care and compassion that was extended to Giulia.
