Ernest Ricky Santiago, 58, of Hopewell Twp. is now at peace. He passed away the morning of January 23, 2016. He was born September 28, 1957 in Pearl City, Hawaii. Ernie was the son of the late Ernest and Violet Susana (Miller) Santiago. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Tomasina.After his retirement from Arizona State University, Ernie was enthusiastic about beginning the next chapter in his life as a real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway. Ernie was a proud Hawaiian, a powerful athlete, a dedicated father, and a loving husband. He had a rascal's sense of humor and a Buddhist?s equanimity. He gave his best. The memories he imparted on us are unforgettable; the spirit he embodied lives on. He is survived by his loving wife: Marybeth (Crnkovich) Santiago and their children: Matthew Mark Santiago, Maria Susana Santiago and Maile Santiago, and three grandchildren: Arabella Violet, Maia Rose and Roland Scott. Ernie is also survived by two brothers: George Keoki Santiago, James Kimo Ray, a sister, Lorena Santiago and numerous nieces and nephews.Family and friends will be celebrating his life Friday from 3 p.m. until time of service at 4:30 p.m. in the ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME INC. 2026 MCMINN STREET, Aliquippa, 724-375-0496.
