Carl Chiocchi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carl Chiocchi, 93 (age) of Center Twp. went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2022.He was born May 7, 1928, in Jeannette, PA and was the son of the late Raymond and Ida (Cannon) Chiocchi .In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his3 sisters, Gloria Davis, Patty DiSimone, and Linda Rupinsky. Carl retired from United Airlines where he worked as a Supervisor of Passenger Service from November of 1947 thru January 1991. He was a veteran of the US Air Force honorably serving our country from 1952 – 1955 stationed both domestically and overseas as a part of is tour of duty. Carl was a member of Mary Queen of Saints Parish, (St.Frances Cabrini Church). He served on the finance committee, was a eucharistic minister and volunteered to serve on a variety of projects. Carl enjoyed sports, especially golf, and was an avid hunter in his younger days. Later in life, he spent a great deal of time with his family and entertaining his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Dolores(Barone) Chiocchi, Daughter Deanna (Frank) Stacho of Monaca, and sons Rick Chiocchi of Sewickley, and Rob (Sandy) of Center Township, as well as 6 grandchildren: Adam and Sean Stacho, Alison, Dmitri, Christopher, and Stephanie Chiocchi. Visitation will be Wednesday March 23, 2022, at the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc. 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 15001. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will follow on Thursday March24th at 10:00 am at St. Frances Cabrini. Everyone is asked to meet in church. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the McGuire Memorial Home, New Brighton, PA The Beaver County Special Unit will provide military honors at the cemetery.
